Very beautiful historic church - 200 years old - in a peaceful setting along the New Hope Rd. outside of Hertford, in the "downeast" area of North Carolina. Very friendly and welcoming congregation. The interior of the Sanctuary is a somewhat unique configuration. Of particular interest is the heavy woodwork and windows in the double-storied gallery running along the west side, and the ceiling of natural bead-board wood.
